Are you an Equation Developer looking for an exciting short-term opportunity? Asitek is seeking a skilled professional to support a 3-month offshore assignment, collaborating with a dynamic team while working remotely.

🔹 Job Title: Equation Developer
🔹 Location: Offshore (Remote)
🔹 Duration: 3 months
🔹 Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Bahrain Time
🔹 Holidays: As per Bahrain Calendar

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide Equation support and maintenance
✅ Develop and enhance in-house programs
✅ Deliver L2 support for internal applications
✅ Collaborate with Finastra for bug fixes & enhancements
✅ Assist the application testing team in ensuring seamless performance

Essential Skills & Competencies:
💡 Strong expertise in code reviews
💡 Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
💡 Proficiency in system testing & integration
💡 Knowledge of AS/400 applications & Command Language
💡 Understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
💡 Experience in system maintenance & enhancement

Qualifications & Experience:
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
📌 AS/400 RPG training is required
📌 Minimum 3 years of experience (banking sector preferred)
📌 Hands-on experience in IT applications development, testing, or support
📌 Leadership experience in managing teams is a plus!
